On the 100th year of Scouting we take pride in the program we have utilized as a vehicle to instill values in young people. Nothing is more memorable to alumni of Scouting than the memories formed around a camp fire. Those incredible experience continue to happen on a daily basis in the Rio Grande Council. Camp Perry Laguna Station
Tour Permits
A tour permit is required every time your unit travels out of your standard meeting location. The process is simple, just follow these steps:
Step #1: Create a "My Scouting Account" Step #2: Log on to "My Scouting" and look for the tour permit section. NO more paper permits will be by the Rio Council. Please take a few minutes to walk through the very simple permit steps. If you do get stuck feel free to contact our staff that will walk you the steps required. Step #3: Once you have received the approved permit print it out; take it with you for proof.

Accident Insurance Form
The Rio Grande Council, Inc. has a blanket accident insurance policy covering all registered youth and adults. A copy of this policy is recommended to be in the hands of unit leaders while traveling or during any event where Scouts may require medical attention.
Learning for Life participants are also covered under this policy, under the Learning for Life program.
