Since 1927 Scouts and Scouters have been creating memories at Camp Perry. On the banks of the Arroyo Colorado, thousands of boys have gained from the quality programs offered over the years. Camp Perry is a place where memories are made; but it is also a camp with a future. It is our mission to provide you and your unit with the best possible outdoor Scouting experience.

YEAR_ROUND USE OF CAMP PERRY

• In-Council Units

Camping for registered Cub Packs, Troops and Venturing Crews is FREE for unit camping experiences. The requirement is to complete a tour permit (two weeks prior to event) and camp reservationswith the counciloffice.. Pick a site on a date not being used for an event and you can enjoy the wonders of one of the last natural areas in South Texas. (Be aware that use of any facilities other than campsites will require additional fees, when applicable. Please check for availability of facilities).

•  Out of Council units

Camping fees are $2.50 per person/per day for outside Scout units. The fee must be paid prior to your arrival. Just contact us at 956-423-0250

• non-B.S.A./L.F.L. ......Youth groups or Church groups

All outside groups- the fees are $2.50 per day/per person. ALL FORMS and fees must be paid and completed two weeks prior to event.Be aware your group must have proof of liability at least two weeks prior to tthe event. Please be aware that  Liabilty insurance requirements must be met before using any camp privately owned by the Rio Grande Council, Inc., Boy Scouts of America. Contact us at: 956-423-0250
